About North Carolina DSA
The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is the largest socialist organization in the United States. Our North Carolina chapter is committed to building a more just, equitable, and democratic society across the Tar Heel State.
We believe that both the economy and society should be run democratically to meet human needs, not to make profits for a few. We are a political and activist organization, not a party; through campus and community-based chapters, DSA members use a variety of tactics, from legislative to direct action, to fight for reforms that empower working people.

Universal, single-payer healthcare as a human right for all North Carolinians.

Affordable housing, strong tenant protections, and an end to displacement.

Our Campaigns
Medicare for All
We're organizing across North Carolina to win universal healthcare. Join us in phonebanking, canvassing, and putting pressure on elected officials to support single-payer healthcare.
Tenant Organizing
Fighting for tenant rights, rent control, and affordable housing in our communities. We support tenant unions and organize against predatory landlords.
Labor Solidarity
Standing with workers on picket lines, supporting union drives, and fighting for better wages and working conditions across North Carolina.
