Comradely Disagreement: Member Leader Training

📅 Saturday, February 21, 2026
⏰ 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

RSVP: https://actionnetwork.org/events/221-comradely-disagreement-training/?source=calendar

Disagreement and criticism are essential to a thriving political organization. It is through disagreement and criticism that we sharpen strategies, tactics, and our theory of change. It is through disagreement and criticism that we grow and develop as individuals and a collective. When things go well, we can leave more deeply unified around shared commitments. But disagreement and criticism can get messy, people can get hurt, the political issues at stake can get lost amidst competing egos, and resentment can brew in a way that is destructive to our movement.

Join Triangle DSA for a skill training on comradely disagreement and constructive criticism, where we will discuss strategies for approaching disagreement and criticism in ways that are generative.

This training is part of the requirements for our member-leader program. We launched this program so that all chapter members have a clear and transparent path to learn the necessary skills and gain the political knowledge they need to be a successful leader in DSA.

We're very excited to welcome DSA members from other chapters and at-large! All are welcome!

If you are member of Triangle DSA and interested in participating in our member leader program (whether you're already a member leader, interested in becoming one, or would simply just like to stay updated on future trainings and educationals that are part of the program), please make sure to fill out the intake form and our member leader check in form.
